As a child growing up in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tony Kreger always had a passion for cooking. He followed that passion, and after high school, enrolled into the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach Fl. After receiving his degree, he began his career at the bottom of the culinary ladder working his way up. He went on to become the executive chef at one of Palm Beach's most prominent country clubs. Later he took an executive chef position in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he came up with his own recipe for barbeque sauce. After the staff and members of the country club tasted the sauce, they requested it be used for all future barbeque dishes and cookouts. After many requests, Tony took the advice of the staff and the members and decided to bottle his sauce. He moved back to St. Petersburg, and with the help of his family, began to build his business. Now, he has a variety of barbeque sauces, marinades, spices and rubs. And so it became "Legends BBQ" and, with his products, you can become a legend in your own backyard.
